Hägglunds Drives Australia has moved its head office in Brisbane to bigger and better premises.
“A revenue growth of 160% over the last four years forced us to find a facility that enabled us to consolidate our two divisions — Drives & Piping — as well as giving us space for expansion,” explained managing director Dave Bradford.
“Our new facility provides us with an improved general workshop with advanced repair and test equipment,” said Bradford.
“The installation of a dedicated pump repair and test room along with a specialised spray booth and enclosed ‘dirty’ compound give our technical staff the best opportunities of serving our customers.
“A recent customer survey confirmed what we suspected: stock levels is the one thing our customers would like to see us improve,” said Bradford.
The larger warehouse area allows the company to house a very comprehensive range of new and exchange motors, spare parts, consumable items and piping components.
“Our customer survey also revealed that many customers would like more training. This has been taken into account when we planned our new head office. We have dedicated a large room specifically for training purposes and it is already being used heavily for both internal and external training. We now have the facilities to offer a top-class training product,” said Bradford.
