This gives users the option of using significantly smaller sensors that require less space but still work with generous switching distances. The main advantage of increased switching distances is greater function reserve: longer distances to the target can be held, which enhances the reliability of the sensor.
The inductive mini-sensor with integrated function indicator and stainless steel housing is suitable for robotics and automation technology in small parts detection or wherever tight mounting constraints are a problem.
